Committed to excellence

Malikah Hamza

“One of my proudest achievements is currently being the only South African female and probably the youngest SA female to play in the Bundesliga 1. This is a great honour and an amazing opportunity that not many people attain.”

Dream big, work hard

pushing boundaries, breaking records

“My life role model would be my number one supporter, which is my father and sporting role models would be the likes of Serena Williams, Sachin Tendulkar and Tiger Woods.”

“When competing, you should compete with yourself, no one else.”

about me

Its all about timing, and that’s all.

I started playing hockey at the age of 9. I made WP U13A two years in a row and won top goal scorer both years. I then made WP U14A, SG U16A, SG U21A, SA U21 Squad and SG Women Indoor two years in a row. I was the youngest player to win gold at U21 IPT (age 15). I am currently part of the SPAR South African Women’s Indoor Team as well and part of the SA U21 Outdoor Team.

“On the field or off, Malikah’s commitment never wavers.”
