redefining the game
My Story
Malikah is a multi-talented sports person that can play sport using all 4 her limbs and is completely self-motivated. She absolutely loves sport and is keen to learn and explore sport. She has been nicknamed in the Hockey fraternity as Malikah ‘Messi’ Hamza because of her ability to score goals in any age group at will.
Malikah Hamza from Kensington and is a real Sports Genius. She has thus far excelled in every sport she has participated in. Malikah plays most sport in age groups way above her age 19. Malikah has the ability to see the play before it happens and many women in Cape Town have seen her as a role model for younger girls.
At age 9, Malikah became the youngest South African Hockey Player to scoop a professional sponsorship contract with Mr. Price Sport.
Rated one of the best Hockey players in her age group in the world by an International Dutch coach, Malikah seems well on her way to becoming a Proteas Hockey Player in the future. Well she may even become a Proteas Ladies Cricketer as Malikah just recently became the only female Cricketer worldwide to receive a Royal Club Sponsorship deal from International Cricket brand, Slazenger. Malikah is also sponsored by Slazenger for Hockey and Mizuno sponsors her sport shoes.
Whilst she does well as an individual player, Malikah performs well in a team and often takes on a natural leadership role. Her appointment as team captain in the various teams is testament to this.
“Redefining the game one goal
at a time. Pushing boundaries, breaking records the Malikah way.”
At age 9, Malikah became the youngest South African Hockey Player to scoop a professional sponsorship contract with Mr. Price Sport.
